I decided to buy a Russian-made meat grinder: what to expect from a meat grinder made at the Kalashnikov plant

When the question arose about buying the necessary kitchen equipment: a food processor or a meat grinder, I immediately dismissed the “Chinese production”. For me, quality, power, the ability to replace parts and price were important. Therefore, I decided to search among Russian manufacturers. The choice is huge!

After wandering around the shops, my eyes caught the name "Axion", made in Izhevsk.

Let me remind you a little of stories: it was at the Izhevsk Motorcycle Plant that the first batch of the machine was produced. Since 1999, the Concern "Axion", a structural subdivision of the "Axion-holding" motorcycle plant, has launched the production of household appliances.

Subsequently, the Kalashnikov Concern and Axion-Holding were included in the list of strategic enterprises.

What could be more reliable than a Kalashnikov assault rifle? Only Axion M-41 meat grinder!

Bonuses, pros, cons

When I received my new assistant, I was pleasantly surprised, there was a sticker on the meat grinder: a 3-year warranty. Usually 1 year.

A big plus is the number of different attachments: a citrus juicer,

- nozzles for shredding vegetables

- attachment for stuffing sausages,

- grates for scrolling meat.

Same:

- the power cord, about one and a half meters, retracts into the compartment at the back, under the cover

- inexpensive spare parts that can be ordered on the official website of the manufacturer

- for carrying the device - comfortable handle

- legs, do not slide on the table

- protective screen

- powerful, 1700 W

And a bonus from the manufacturer was a bright and colorful recipe book.

The unit is supplied with an assembly and operating manual, the text is written in different languages. You can read everything and see the pictures.

Of the specifics, maybe for someone there is a problem: after washing, you need to wipe all metal parts with sunflower oil and then wipe it dry, otherwise rust may appear.

Someone will think that it makes too much noise. But, I do not consider it a minus.

Reverse move.

Remember how you had to disassemble the Soviet manual meat grinder, clean the screw from the veins, wash and assemble again? Now you don't have to do this. The reverse system is an advantage on electric meat grinders:

- the screw is cleaned automatically, the product cannot be disassembled

-. the ability to scroll meat with veins, no need to remove them in advance

- the service life is increased

- no heavy load on the knives

- minced meat of a homogeneous mass, without films and tendons

Of course, minced meat can be obtained without this function, but then with a waste of time.

Simply and easily

I am very pleased with the purchase.

How pleasant it is to drink freshly squeezed juices and it is easier to make preparations of vegetables, cutlets, meatballs. And most importantly, time is saved on cooking, nothing needs to be twisted and rubbed by hand.

What to expect from such a purchase? Only joy!

In any unpleasant case, it can always be converted into a Kalashnikov :)
