Self-conduct of an electric point on the front fence, what nuances need to be taken into account, stages of work
I thought about carrying out an electric point in the area of the front fence even at the time of installing the wicket and sliding gates. Thanks to the presence of an outlet, I do not have to use extension cords for construction and various household work. Since I installed the sections of the fence much later, I decided to lay the electrical cables in advance.
He pulled the wires into a plastic pipe, which he laid in a dug trench. The depth of this ditch was 1 meter, it started from the basement and ended with the location of the column for the gate.
The process of installing a street outlet included the following steps:
All work on the installation of the electrical point was carried out at the time of the installation of the permanent formwork from the sections of the eurofence, immediately before the concrete was poured.
In the section located between the posts of the wicket and sliding gates, I made a square hole using a drill and a grinder. In this place, I installed a junction box made of plastic, since in the future it is planned to install an intercom, for which cables have already been laid.
In the first section of the reinforced concrete formwork, which is located to the left of the wicket post, I also made a square hole using the power tool.
I dug a trench under the gate, extended a cable in a plastic pipe inside the formwork, to the location of the outlet intended for outdoor conditions. After that, I put the boot in the ditch and concreted it.
I connected the wires and then connected the outlet to the electrical network. Since the cable was previously brought out to the shield, I only had to turn on the machine and test the operation of the electrical point.
