Top 5 Red Plants for the Garden. For those who love Poarche
I think all women love red. I just love it too. For me, this shade symbolizes celebration, energy and joy of life. In my wardrobe and at home, I have a lot of things of this color.
I transferred my love for red to my garden, paying special attention to the bright plants on the site.
1. the Rose
This queen of flowers takes pride of place in my garden. On the site, I planted several varieties, from scarlet to dark crimson. Some bush blooms earlier, some later, and therefore throughout the season they delight me, my relatives and guests of our house with their beauty and fragrance.
But I decided not to limit myself to roses alone and planted several more wonderful red plants on the site.
2. Celosia comb
For my garden, I chose the Armor Red variety. The flowers of this plant have a velvety structure, so the hand always reaches out to stroke them.
The flowers are small, collected in inflorescences, resembling a cockscomb. The place for the whole should be well lit. The plant loves abundant watering, especially on hot days.
From a lack of moisture, celosia will stop throwing out new inflorescences, and its appearance will not be so spectacular.
3. Summer adonis
I planted this delicate flower on my site. Husband does not like Adonis. He considers the flower to be rustic. And on the contrary, I really like it. Summer adonis is somewhat similar to poppy, only more refined.
Using this plant, I designed an alpine slide, combining red summer adonis with white arabis.
In care, adonis, of course, is somewhat capricious: the soil for it needs a well-drained soil, from autumn the soil must be limed without fail, the plant itself needs feeding and abundant watering.
But the flower is worth all the trouble. You can try to enjoy the summer adonis bloom throughout the season.
4. Japanese astilba
I saw this flower in the garden of my friend. And also, as they say, "caught fire". The variety is called "Red Guard" These red "panicles" have taken secluded places on my site, as Astilba does not particularly like the sun, preferring partial shade more.
Watering is imperative, otherwise you can disrupt the flowering process for the entire season. The plant should be periodically fed with organic fertilizers, then the inflorescences will be more lush.
5. Red maple
In summer, the leaves of this tree are of the usual green color, and only the flowers are reddish. But with the approaching autumn days, the tree acquires its enchanting color.
The leaves turn crimson, and this handsome man can be seen far beyond our garden. It contrasts wonderfully with the green and yellow trees around.
The tree preserves its romantic outfit until the coldest days, driving away the autumn depression.
