An acquaintance of mine who built a house this summer replaced the solid fuel boiler, which requires regular coal or firewood, with an automatic coal boiler. But it was possible to act more rationally - to supplement the boiler with a pellet burner with a hopper. And the costs are less and the old boiler would not have to be dismantled and sold.

We don't have gas in the region, so this article is for those who heat a house with a boiler with other types of fuel.

Why is it necessary to install a pellet burner? Coal is not available in all regions, and even more fractional coal for automatic boilers. Pellet ash does not need to be disposed of. She spills out into the garden as fertilizer. And ash from coal is stored and later transported to the solid waste landfill. From coal - a lot of dust when filling the boiler or bunker.
