The upcoming 2021 will not be an exception, and from January 1, Russians will receive a new restriction on the operation of gas appliances. Read on for more details.
What is the resolution
From the beginning of 2021, it will be prohibited to use gas stoves that have not undergone maintenance in the country. The document notifying of the innovation is posted on the official website containing legal information. This resolution will enter into force on 01/01/2021 and will be valid until 12/31/2026.
The rules of the fire regime of the Russian Federation, approved by the government decree, read: “When operating gas appliances, it will be prohibited use faulty gas appliances, as well as gas equipment that has not undergone maintenance in accordance with the established order. "
What else
In addition, it will be forbidden to leave switched on gas appliances unattended. The only exception will be the equipment that is designed for round-the-clock operation without human control. This must be specified in the manufacturer's instructions for using the device.
When operating gas equipment, it is prohibited to: turn it on or leave it in working order in the event of a gas leak; install gas fittings with a tool that can form a spark; check connections of pipes and gas fittings with an open flame.
