How I recommend to care for the Hibiscus so that it blooms without ceasing in Winter

In my collection of hibiscus there are more than a dozen plants that bloom magnificently, practically without a break, all year round. I did not achieve this right away, at first the buds often fell off, not having time to open, or did not form at all.

There are several reasons for the poor flowering of the Chinese rose:

· Lack of moisture in the soil and air;

· Soil poor in humus;

· Incorrect pruning of the bush;

· Lack of lighting.

Hibiscus loves watering very much. I water my plants every 2-3 days. It is very easy to determine the need for a flower in water - if the leaves are drooping, it is urgent to water. I use only warm and settled water (rain, thawed). I water it abundantly, but make sure that moisture does not remain in the pan, otherwise the roots can rot.

It is necessary to spray a Chinese rose 1-2 times a week, especially if the flower is kept at a temperature of +25 degrees and above.

Important! Lack of moisture is the main reason for the falling off of the set buds.

I make the soil for a perennial from a mixture of humus, sand, peat and garden soil. When planting, I apply granular fertilizer for flowers in the dose recommended by the manufacturer. Such a dressing is enough for a flower for 3-5 months, then you need to feed the hibiscus every 2 weeks.

I use Bona Forte universal liquid fertilizer. It contains a full range of minerals and vitamins and is easy to use. I dissolve 1 cap of liquid in 1.5 liters of water and add it to the soil instead of watering. It is better not to exceed the concentration, it is fraught with burns of the root system.

Taking care of the flowers, I noticed that hibiscus forms buds at the tips of the shoots, there are no flowers in the depths of the bush. I realized my mistake - I was pruning the rose, trying to give the bush a compact shape, simply by shortening the shoots.

And thus deprived herself of flowers. Now I remove only branches from the plant that shade other shoots. I cut them out entirely, not shorten them.

In winter, most indoor flowers lack light. Hibiscus is no exception. Most of my plants were on a southern windowsill or on a shelf under a phytolamp, but one large bush had to be placed away from the light source.

On this specimen, the buds appeared rarely and only on one side, which received more sunlight. After I transferred this hibiscus to the insulated glazed balcony, the flowering improved.

By following my recommendations for hibiscus care, you can enjoy beautiful blooms all winter long.
