Splashes on the walls of the oven cannot be avoided when baking many dishes. How I easily clean my oven and grates without harmful chemicals
Greetings, dear hostesses and readers of my goodies!
Under the last article No ammonia! My favorite way to clean the gas stove grates: no smell, no dirt left, I was asked - how to wash off greasy splashes on the walls of the oven? Moreover, if they were not left today or yesterday, but the oven was used afterwards. I understand that I, too, do not wash the walls after every heating up of the oven. But once a month at least is a necessity.
I ANSWER THE QUESTION.
So, at your request, I will share my method of cleaning the walls of the oven from greasy splashes without spending too much effort on this process.

When washing the oven, I never use special chemicals. You never know, particles will remain and will fall into the food during the next cooking. There is enough harmful chemistry in our life and there. My task is to steam the surface with a soapy solution. But with the addition of acid. To do this, I first dissolve laundry soap, soda and citric acid in a wide, but not deep enameled container in hot water. I put everything on the eye. Lemon - probably a couple of spoons. But you can cut the lemon into slices or squeeze its juice into this solution.
Then I put it in a preheated oven at 220-250 degrees. So that the solution boils. Do not be afraid if it starts to spray in the same way, it's even good. It will boil for about 15 minutes and, after turning off the oven, leave the door open. Allow to cool slightly so that it does not burn.
Then I usually put on gloves, take a sponge and, dipping it in the hot solution, once again apply the solution to the walls of the oven. I rub it with the hard side of the sponge. All fatty deposits softened from the evaporated solution easily leaves, is washed off. All you have to do is rinse with a clean cloth with clean water. I've just been my last time.
