How to make spathiphyllum bloom

If you have created favorable comfortable conditions for growth for a flower, and it does not please you with flowering, then you need to make it bloom. To stimulate gorgeous flowering, the plant needs to change the conditions of "residence", namely:

· Transfer the plant to a cool place where the air temperature will be maintained at +16 +18 С, and leave it there for a month;

· Reduce the frequency of watering, water it rarely and in small quantities. But at the same time, make sure that there is no wilting of the leaves;

· Create insufficient lighting. To do this, you can place the flower on the windowsill on the north side. Here you can create extreme conditions for him: lack of lighting and cool air (temperature not higher than +18 C).

It is necessary to withstand the flower in adverse conditions for a month, and then return it to comfortable conditions. They will be as follows:

· Transfer the flower to the windowsill in the room from the east or west side. But I do not recommend a place on the windowsill on the south side, since direct sunlight will negatively affect the spathiphyllum there;

· Provide a comfortable air temperature for the flower +22 + 240C;

· Start watering the plant regularly. The water should be settled and soft. To soften the water, I add citric acid at the rate of 1 liter of water, several crystals of acid. Loves planting and spraying.

I do this regularly, especially in the summer heat and in the winter heating season, when the air in the room is dry.

Use room temperature water for spraying. The optimal conditions will be if the room has a humidifier;

· At this time it is useful to feed the flower. To do this, use phosphate-potassium fertilizer or any other fertilizer designed for flowering plants.
