6 reasons why people around are so irritable and angry Psychologist's opinion
Striving for positive emotions is the norm, but it is not always possible to get them from others. And often the situation turns out to be the exact opposite, when communication with people turns into a constant conflict, because they show only irritability and anger towards you.
We can often observe this behavior around us - in stores, in transport, in queues for a doctor, but just on the street.
What is the reason for this behavior?
If you understand the origins of negative experiences, it will be much easier to find a common language with others. I will try to tell you about the reasons for such negative behavior of people in our society.
1. Circumstances
The emotional background of a person is very dependent on the environment. And it happens that someone just doesn’t go the way they want. A person may have problems in the family, in professional activities, he may not like the place where he is, etc. This can cause irritation and anger.
In this case, one cannot talk about any psychological disorders - one has only to change the entourage or to settle some business, and the person immediately changes for the better, radiating benevolence and friendliness.
2. Someone else's life
A certain pattern of life is imposed on most people from childhood: study, work, marriage, children, pension. Parents decide for their children where they learn to go, what to become, when to marry / marry.
Society presses on women from the stereotypes "must become a mother, this is your main mission." Other pressures come on men.
People live according to alien, imposed scenarios, fearing to change something and build the kind of life they really want. From this lack of fulfillment, suppression of their needs and true desires, many develop background depression, neurosis, apathy or latent aggression.
Internal pain is looking for a way out and a person breaks down on any passer-by at the opportunity.
He is deeply unhappy and therefore throws out what he is filled with.
3. Physiological diseases
Some diseases can cause behavioral changes in people - for example, hyperthyroidism, diabetes, PMS in women, etc.
During their course, metabolism is disturbed, which leads to changes in mood and perception of the world around us: a person becomes irritable, reacts too emotionally to negative situations.
4. Chronic stress and neurosis
If a person is exposed to stress for a long time, emotionally or intellectually overstrained, he has a protracted external or internal conflict, this can lead to neurosis.
And this case can already be attributed to violations of the normal functioning of the psyche. At the same time, a person is fully aware of the fact that it is difficult for him to find a common language with others, but he cannot do anything about his reaction to negative phenomena.
People do not even suspect that they are living with neurosis. According to statistics, 8 out of 10 people have neurosis, especially among urban residents.
5. Depression
The symptoms of depression are not always depression, indifference and sadness. It often manifests itself in more aggressive changes in human behavior. Men can be especially irritable in this state.
Also, some forms of depression are characterized by sharp mood swings, refusal to fulfill their immediate duties, which provokes conflicts between a person and others.
6. Taking medications
Some medications can cause aggression and irritability in a person. Moreover, often the positive effect of drugs significantly exceeds their negative effect.
As soon as the treatment is stopped, the person returns to his normal emotional background.
It happens that under the influence of these reasons, a person becomes more irritable and hostile, and therefore you can never judge the personal qualities of others superficially.
Even if you have seen someone only a few times in your life, and each time the person was in an aggressive mood, you should not jump to conclusions. It is possible that this is not his fault.
