You can't burn leaves, you can't fire, you can't barbecue. Bans that will prevent us from having a great time in the country in 2021.

Who doesn't like to grill barbecue or just have fun with friends or family around the fire? But soon it will all end, because already in the coming year a new fire prevention law will be introduced, which will not allow enjoying such a desired vacation.

Where exactly can you find all the details about this innovation?
If you open the Fire Safety Regulations in the Russian Federation, you can read that in addition to a ban on burning garbage and accumulation of combustible materials nearby, it will not even be possible to burn dry branches and leaves. Also, the law prohibits making a fire to cook barbecue.

Failure to comply with this restriction will result in certain penalties. The minimum amount you have to pay is 2,000 rubles. If the violation is repeated again, the amount of the fine will increase by another thousand.

But not everything is so categorical. If you carefully read paragraph 66 of the new Rules, you can find some loopholes in order to be able to enjoy the fire.

The fact is that it is forbidden to use only open fire for cooking or other household needs. But it also says that all this can be done in specially equipped places.

What should we do in order not to break the new law and make a fire for your household and not only needs?

How to properly equip a suitable place to light an open fire so as not to displease local fire services. All the smallest nuances are spelled out in detail in the fifth paragraph of the same Fire Fighting Regulations, which says that the place for fire bred at least 5 meters before any buildings and in no case allow the presence of combustible materials at least 2 meters.

Food can only be cooked in special containers or devices, such as barbecues and braziers. In other words, you can still cook a shish kebab, but the above requirements should be observed. The brazier must also be installed at a distance of five meters from residential and utility buildings.

I also faced a problem related to the fact that the distance from the place where the barbecue is located was less than 5 meters from the buildings. I had to re-equip everything a little so that the fire inspectors had no reason to issue a fine.

To get rid of dry leaves and small branches, you have to pack everything in trash bags. It is especially difficult to remove from the site long branches of grapes that are pruned annually or thorny roses.

My husband and I found an excellent way out of this situation and installed a large metal barrel at the edge of the site, in which we burn everything that burns. But the barrel should be no closer than five meters from the buildings.

If everything is strictly observed, then you will never face penalties from the fire department. We are perfectly insured and we strongly advise you to also follow the points of the Fire Fighting Regulations.
