Warm floors won't surprise anyone now. Some people use underfloor heating as the only source of heating without radiators. Many people choose the water heating option.

It so happens that the structural and other features of the room do not allow the use of a cement screed. In order to prevent unnecessary load on the floor and not to spend centimeters in height, light foil systems are chosen.

Such systems are lightweight. Therefore, you can safely use it on the second floor of the house. The whole "wet" process is excluded and you can safely start the system after installation. The small thickness of the foil element (3 cm) will not take the height.

The foil element consists of extruded polystyrene foam with an aluminum top layer.

Can be used for concrete substrates and plank floors. In the material itself, channels are made through which pipes are laid (16-18 mm.).

Any cement screed (cement layer) reduces heat transfer by 6-10%. And the foil elements increase heat transfer.

Before work, apply soil or concrete contact to the base of the floor. The panels are easy to cut with a clerical knife and can be laid independently without assistance. The panels are laid out from the farthest corner or from the place where the collector is installed.

The panels are glued to the subfloor. You need to apply a little glue (at the corners).

You can use liquid nails, tile glue, KS, or other glue that will not corrode the foam. After 3 hours, pipes can be laid. Places where the floor will be free of pipes are filled with foam of the same thickness. At the turn, the pipes enter the perforated channel. The pipe fits tightly into the swivel channel. Antifreeze liquid or just water is used as a filler.

Any covering can be laid on top: laminate, parquet, tiles, etc. If a tile or self-leveling floor, then before laying, treat the surface with concrete contact or soil.

The size of the slabs is 600x400x30 mm. It costs 300 rubles apiece. For 1 sq. m. you need 4 pieces.
