We make a decorative fireplace for the New Year's interior with our own hands, three evenings and at home - a fairy tale

We are going to celebrate the New Year with a group of friends, without inviting any outsiders. Therefore, since we communicate all the time, we try to diversify our meetings. So this time for the New Year's party, they decided to make a photo zone in order to hold photo sessions with families and alone. And for the photo zone, we needed a fireplace that creates a certain atmosphere. I got to do it, since I spend this week with my child at home.

Of course, the fireplace is the most budget one. From cardboard boxes, a piece of foam, left over from the construction site, and paper. I didn't use anything expensive.

There were also a few Styrofoam ceiling tiles that I planned to use to cut the bricks from. In general, this is garbage that has long been going to be thrown into a landfill, removed from the ceilings in the house after buying it. But they came in handy.

Penoplex went to the base and mantel. Just two halves were enough. After I attached it, I painted it twice with white paint.

The body of the fireplace itself was made of boxes, the portal was made of cardboard. The glue spread the wallpaper left over from the trim.

She pasted over the body with paper and left to dry for a day. After that I painted it and left it to dry again. You can't rush here, otherwise the structure will get wet.

Then I cut the bricks and started decorating. The walls were laid out in rows, and the hearth was marked with an arch.

The decorating process is almost complete. After gluing the bricks, I left my fireplace again for the night. But the next day he was almost ready.

So far I decorated it with a chain of cones, put an electric garland in the hearth and my product took on a wonderful look. Soon we will take it to our friends, where a photo zone will be organized and there we will already decorate it with a fir garland, so that everything is like in a movie.
