I cooked the furniture for the kitchen myself - look and appreciate what happened
Our new house is still under construction, but we have been living for 5 years in an old house, which we bought because of the chic location of the site - in the private sector in the city center. Of course, we have made cosmetic repairs in the house, but we are not trying to make any special investments, everything is in construction. We live, as they say, poor, but neat.
The house is small, we have a kitchen-living room and a bedroom-nursery. Therefore, every centimeter is expensive. It is not possible to put a large dining table, because the child also needs a table for classes. And for eating, my wife and I came up with something like a bar counter. Invented and done. Here's what we got.
I welded the furniture with my Resant welder, which I have already mentioned. An excellent device, I recommend it to everyone.
The welded frame was polished and painted black.
The chairs are equipped with backs and are very stable. To drop them, you need to try, since I shifted the center of gravity down.
The table top, seats and backs are made of thick plywood, varnished.
My wife, a needlewoman, came up with the design of the seat covers using old jeans that we had lying around. Inside - foam rubber and synthetic winterizer. I don't know about you, but I like it, pretty.
Of course, it is not complete without stains, because our 4-year-old fidget always spills something and grabs with dirty hands.
All the nodes I have cleaned, there are no dangerous notches and protrusions.
In terms of functionality, we are very pleased with the furniture, it takes up a minimum of space between the door and the refrigerator. Monumental, therefore does not move or fall. The chairs may look heavy, but in fact move easily.
The cat likes this corner, which means it is good in all respects. Animals have a better sense of subtle matters. So, with joint efforts, we have created an interesting set of furniture, which gives us the opportunity with the whole family to gather at a table, which, in principle, does not exist and has nowhere to put.
