Have you heard about the Romanian well? I show you how it works!
This well was very cunningly arranged: it contains neither the usual bucket that is supposed to scoop water from the bottom, nor a rope that pulls any other vessel with water to the surface.
And nevertheless, the Romanian well gives water no less than usual. They filmed a video for their Canadian friends about how it works, but the Russians will also be curious about how it works:
Wells of this kind are very common in Ukraine - where Romanian prisoners built them in small towns and villages. There are many of them (wells) left there today.
The system is quite simple: a steel pipe of 110 or 160 diameter is installed in the central part of the well. The pipe is fixed by pipes of a smaller diameter, embedded in the brickwork of the walls. A chain with cylindrical barrels is inserted inside the pipe, which ensure the rise of water from the bottom.
Further, the water is simply distributed through three pipes - so that three housewives can simultaneously draw water from the well: it is convenient, you can chat with your neighbors in the country and collect water.
Have you ever seen such a marvelous thing?
The well is beautiful, the water is clean, does not stagnate and has no bad smell. Pure pleasure!
