I tell you how to feed the flowers blooming in Winter so that they are covered with beautiful Flowers and do not get sick
Real luxury - lushly blooming indoor plants in winter, can really be available to every amateur florist with just a little effort!
The fact is that for the full development of green "pets" of all varieties and varieties, a certain set of nutrients is needed.
And they can get them from just one top dressing, the recipe of which I personally tested and now I can safely recommend it to you!
Its main ingredient is ordinary wood ash, which is rich in elements such as:
Magnesium
Iron;
Sulfur;
Phosphorus;
Zinc;
· Calcium.
Ash indirectly affects flowering, improving the condition of plants as follows:
1. Promotes the development of the root system.
2. Activates the processes of photosynthesis.
3. Prevents the development of fungal diseases.
To prepare the product, it is necessary to dissolve 4 tablespoons of ash in 1 liter of water and leave to infuse for 5 days.
Then you need to take some citrus fruit. An orange, grapefruit, 2-3 tangerines, 2 limes or a lemon will do. The fruit additive should be peeled off, which should be in a bowl of water, where the ash has already been dissolved. You need to insist everything for another 3 days. Then the mixture can only be drained and the plants can be watered!
It is believed that citrus fruits are useful for indoor flowers with vitamin C, but in fact, ascorbic acid practically does not affect the ability of plants to form flower buds. But unique acids are very influencing.
Moreover, there is a theory that fertilizing with citrus fruits contributes to:
· Flowering longer;
· Production of coloring pigments for petals.
It is recommended to apply the described dressing from November to March inclusive, no more than 1 time per month.
And it is necessary only after the flowers have been watered in the usual way, that is, simply with clean water, which they should receive approximately 5 times more than the funds. Such a simple rule is necessary to protect the root system from burns.
After applying top dressing, it is advisable to loosen the soil carefully - thus, facilitating the penetration of air to the underground part of the plants. Naturally, mulching it at home is not required.
Also, from personal experience, I can say that after any dressing, it is advisable to keep the flowers in partial shade for about a day, and it is also contraindicated to cut off the leaves and shoots for another week.
