Radish

It grows mainly on slightly acidic soils. Ash will deacidify the soil, which will lead to a deterioration in the growth of root crops and yellowing of the leaves. Therefore - this can lead to a small amount of harvest or no harvest at all.

Sorrel, calendula and sage

Watermelon

Ash can bring little benefit to this culture, it will get rid of melon aphids, but the disadvantages will be no less terrible. First, the likelihood that the fruit will start to rot will increase.

Secondly, it will begin to suffer from a large lack of vitamins (iron, boron, zinc and others), which will lead to the fact that the water is not correct distributed over the fruit, but - this, in turn, is fraught with the fact that the fruit will begin to crack, and the upper part of the fruit will lag behind development.
