How we moved to a country house and make money from growing cucumbers

We lived in a multi-storey building in one of the sleeping areas. About two years ago, the dullness and joylessness of the landscape of my place of residence began to oppress me very much. Everyone's apartment is cozy and beautiful, but you go out into the street and immediately plunge into the world of concrete, dust, asphalt.

We thought about moving to the village for a long time, and finally decided. Having moved to a country house, my husband and I started growing cucumbers for sale.

Growing plants brings me great joy. Not only flowers, but plants in general - cabbage, cucumbers, dill ...

I want to share my experience in growing cucumbers for sale. Here are detailed entries from my garden diary.

On the first Sunday after Easter, I planted F1 Amur cucumber seeds (20 pcs) and Tchaikovsky (20 pcs) in the greenhouse.

At Tchaikovsky, seedlings appeared on the fourth day, at Amur - on the fifth. Out of 40 seeds, 38 sprouted, two of the Cupid's seeds did not hatch.

The plants developed well, amicably. Still, Tchaikovsky was clearly the leader.

The first fruits plucked from Tchaikovsky on June 5, 1 month and 20 days after sowing the seeds. Cupid began to bear fruit three days later.

The cucumbers are very tasty, pimply, crunchy, without a void in the middle, there is no talk about bitterness at all. Even in the extreme heat, there was no bitterness.

In terms of taste and appearance, Cupid and Tchaikovsky are very similar, almost indistinguishable.

The whole difference between these hybrids was visible only in the early stages, it consisted in the speed of seed germination and the appearance of the first cucumbers.

When I picked cucumbers, flowers were almost always preserved on them. Although these hybrids do not need pollination by bees, bees flocked to the greenhouse during flowering.

All the bushes were tied up, the lashes stretched up to 2.5 meters. A neighbor who has been growing cucumbers for sale for 30 years advised to remove all the lower leaves, flowers and stepsons at a height of 10-15 cm from the ground.

I am very grateful to him for this advice. Cucumbers do produce a lot of lateral stepchildren that thicken the plantation terribly.

Cucumbers bore fruit very abundantly. Collected twice a day, morning and evening. I noticed that if you pluck the fruits in the morning, then by the evening the rest of the fruits grow faster, and if you collect them once a day, then the growth of zelents is inhibited.

On June 22, she planted 20 more Tchaikovsky seeds in open ground. We went up very quickly, on the 4th day.

Since July 13, the yield of cucumbers began to decline, the tops began to turn yellow.

On July 20, she removed cucumbers from the greenhouse, and planted seedlings there, which were sown in open ground on June 22.

From the drugs used: BI-58, bioglobin - a biological drug.

Watering should be regular, the earth did not dry out. The soil was covered with straw.

Cucumbers were sold in the nearest regional center in the market. For the season, net income amounted to 15,000 rubles!

How glad I am that I moved to live in a country house. This year I plan to increase the area of ​​cucumber planting.
