Not all storage furniture fits in a tiny bathroom: what I ended up getting
Everyone has a ton of stuff in their bathroom, especially cleaning supplies, cosmetics and the like. Therefore, sooner or later the question arises, where should all this be put in order to preserve the aesthetic appearance of the room? It is necessary to put everything so that the necessary is always at hand.
I had a lot of ideas on what to put out of the furniture. It was necessary to make it look nice and be functional. Unfortunately, I have a small bathroom, so I opted for the cabinet under the washbasin.
You know, I have never regretted my decision. Such furniture has a number of advantages, as for me:
1. Looks beautiful;
2. Doesn't take up much space;
3. It combines 2 functions - a washbasin and a storage space.
4. Holds a lot of things.
Take measurements before going to the store. It's a shame to admit, but we went to the store twice, we just didn't think to measure the space under the curbstone. This was because I thought they would all be standard sizes. But all products are different in height, width and depth. The width of my cabinet is 60 cm, the height is 82 cm, the depth is 35 cm. Ideally stood in the free space allocated for it.
Further shelves. Each cabinet has a completely different arrangement of drawers and modules. If you are going to store detergents in it, then immediately look for a cabinet with one large shelf, not divided into additional compartments. In this case, all the jars will fit, and you will not need to lay them sideways.
Also, be sure to pay attention to the material from which the cabinet is made. Since there is always high humidity in the bathroom, you need to choose a product that will not crack and rot over time. For example, products made from moisture resistant fiberboard.
Well, it is also very important, of course, it is a high-quality washbasin. If the curbstone is suitable in all respects, then you should not immediately make a purchase. Pay attention to the sink. What is it made of, the manufacturer, etc. I chose ceramic. This option is the most affordable, yet quite durable and looks good.
What would you put in a bathroom with a little free space?
