The purpose of the revision well in an autonomous sewage system, difficulties and nuances in self-erection
When creating an autonomous sewage system, I considered several options for septic tanks - plastic containers, a brick well, concrete rings. Comparing their characteristics, cost, I opted for reinforced concrete products. Their advantages include affordable cost, quick installation, the longest useful life, resistance to physical stress, low temperatures.
After the completion of the excavation work, the crane installed reinforced concrete rings. There was a hole in the upper tank for the installation of a revision well. To save money, I decided not to buy a concrete structure, but laid it out of red brick, which remained after the completion of other work. The construction of the inspection well was carried out according to the principle of ordinary masonry. He laid the bricks on a cement mortar, which he used to cover up the cracks.
As a result, I got seven rows of 9 pieces. my sewerage system provided for two reinforced concrete septic tanks, so on both I erected brick viewing wells. They were plastered inside and outside to increase strength, resistance to stress.
I installed plastic covers on top of the brick hatches. The hatches consist of two parts, the first one was installed in concrete, the second one remained unsecured, it closes, entering special grooves, opens when necessary to assess the fullness of the wells.
At the final stage, he covered his reinforced concrete septic tanks with earth in such a way that about 15-20 cm of a viewing well protrudes above the soil surface.
