I offer an excellent way to grow marigold seedlings without land - germination rate is almost 100%
Greetings to all flower growers, beauty lovers in the beds and in life!
Marigolds are flowers that not only decorate my site, but also bring HUGE benefit, disinfecting the ground, driving away many pests, like a nematode. Marigolds, even with late blight, can help. But I will talk about all its properties and applications on my channel later, in order.
But in order for the benefits to be not just a joy for the eyes, you need to plant in a substantially large volume. Between the beds, in the greenhouse, plant every 30 cm, in flower beds, so that later to prepare infusions or decoctions from the flowers.
#planting If you choose low-growing varieties of marigolds, then they germinate well without seedlings through direct sowing into open ground.
But it is better to sow the taller varieties at home in advance. And in order to decorate the site with flowers as soon as possible, it is also worth preparing the seedlings in advance.
Habitual sowing method in containers or pots with soil not quite right for me
and not for all cultures. For marigolds, I do not always have land left, then I grow their seedlings without it, which I will tell you about.Between the lines, let me insert links to other posts from my channel:

At the beginning of April, you can already sow seeds, so that at the end of May they can already be transplanted in the garden at the same time as tomatoes, cucumbers and other crops. If there are plastic bags, then you can do them, or you can also the remaining pieces from last year's greenhouse film.
Step by step guide
A strip or half-folded sachet is placed on the table. I lay out a layer of toilet paper in 2 layers on it.
In a liter of warm water I dissolve and stir a couple of tablespoons of peroxide (or you can replace it with epin - this is even better) and spray it on the paper with a spray bottle until it is completely moistened.
Then I spread the seeds on this paper at a slight angle close to the upper edge, but without going out to the edge for 3 mm and put each seed in 1 cm.
The black tip of the seeds should point towards the bottom of the strip. Here you can either cover it with another layer of toilet paper and sprinkle it gently and press down slightly so that the seeds do not shift when rolling. Gently roll and put such “cups” - rolls into the container.
Having placed it, I pour warm water into the container, so that from the day the depth is about a centimeter and from above I cover the entire container with cling film. As soon as the shoots appear, it will be possible to remove the shelter. The main thing is to moisturize in a timely manner, and here I also pour my favorite algae fertilizer into the container - I also water the seedlings of cucumbers, tomatoes, peppers with it. Seedlings sprout almost 100%, it turns out to be very strong and then it is convenient to plant it in open ground.
