There are many useful things to do at home. All of them make our life more convenient and comfortable. I want to share the necessary (in my opinion) things for safety, saving light and water in the house. I will be glad if you like something too.

Most of the listed little things have already been tried by me and I do not regret the purchase at all.

Plastic window lock

I saw it not long ago on one site and thought that this thing is simply necessary for me. In summer, in the heat, we often open the window in the kitchen. Since we live in an apartment on the 4th floor, there is a danger for small children and pets.

The lock works according to the limiter principle. It prevents the sash from opening. The key is used to unlock the locking mechanism. A cable lock is suitable not only for any type of window, but also for doors, transoms, vents, etc. If you need to open the window wide open, you need to use the key. By the way, it also serves as additional protection against penetration into the apartment.

I haven't screwed it on the window yet. I think that the screws in the kit are very long. Need to buy others.

The length of the plastic sheathed steel cable is about 20 cm. The set includes self-tapping screws (4 pcs.) And a key.

Tap aerator (water saving)

Saving water in a legal way. Significantly reduces the water pressure, saturates the water with air.

The old nozzle has become unusable. I bought a new turntable with a propeller. Until now, our whole family is happy. You can turn in any direction and there is no splashing as before.

LED night light with light sensor

During the night you have to get up several times for different needs. He used to turn on the light and inadvertently wake up his relatives.

A light sensor is built into the night light: it lights up itself when it gets dark, and turns off in the light. The brightness changes depending on the environment. It will also be useful to those who are afraid of total darkness at night and sleep with light.

There is no on / off button. The light from the night light is neither bright nor dim. Made of plastic. There was no smell. Beam angle - 360 degrees. The size of the night light is 65x65x28 mm. The mini light can be chosen in different light. I chose just white. There is also blue, red and yellow.

Came relatively quickly - in a month from China. The box is dented, but the lamp is intact. The plastic is quite durable, it is difficult to break it.

Gloves (level 5 protection)

The knife does not take the gloves (the manufacturer declares). High degree of protection against cuts and impacts (level 5 EN388). This is achieved by using a special thread in gloves made of high molecular weight polyethylene.

Such gloves are ordered for construction, repair, as well as for those who love to cook (cutting meat, fish, for a grater, etc.).

Took myself for repairs around the house. My wife saw it and took it away from me. I had to order another one.

If the glass is broken, you can safely collect it with gloves. Sawing, planing, working with a hammer and other tools is now safe. There will be no splinters, cuts and other troubles.

Fitted perfectly. I thought it would be too tough, but no. Gloves feel like ordinary gloves, they "sit" nicely on the hands. At the same time, hands do not sweat, gloves are "breathable".

Pleased with reusable use. Can be machine washed or hand washed.
