Made a budget carport over the parking: sharing my experience
Loading into a car that has warmed up in the sun all day is not the most pleasant thing, so if parking is located in the open sun, and allows space on the site, I advise you to equip a covered canopy. At least as simple and unseen as it came out with us.
In total, we spent about 12 thousand rubles on the shed, which we are very proud of. I will tell you the whole process in stages. We start with the marking of the site and the preparation of asbestos-cement pipes - they will be useful for arranging the foundation.
We install a pipe in the hole, buy timber supports in a hardware store (the cheapest ones were found in Petrovich) and cut the masonry mesh - it will go to reinforce the concrete part of the timber support.
In the concrete that has not yet grasped, we install the support of the timber. We check the verticality of the installation with a bubble level, or with a special application on a smartphone.
We are waiting for a week until the concrete sets. Do not forget to periodically moisten the concrete: the cement milk should not dry out.
We install a vertical beam 100 * 100 mm and horizontal jumpers. For fastening, we use purchased reinforced steel corners with a metal thickness of at least 3 mm.
I recommend fixing the corners with universal orange self-tapping screws. The black ones are very brittle, so they won't work here.
We add boards, temporarily make jibs between two rows of pillars - so that the structure does not creep apart.
To prevent the lateral rays of the sun from heating the car, we decided to sheathe the canopy with an inch board painted with stain. Subsequently, I did not like the color, most likely, in a couple of years we will remove the paint layer and repaint with Tikkurila.
