What exotic tomatoes do I recommend to grow. I share my personal experience, tell about the best varieties

Exotic tomatoes have been my hobby since my student days. For ten years she has tried many shapes and colors: from emerald green to chocolate black with red veins.

You just can't imagine how addicting this hobby is, how soothing and inspiring. I want to share with you my best findings for the entire time of growing non-standard tomatoes.

Zalais Pipartomats / Green Pepper Tomato (Latvia)

A rare, unique, super showy variety of green-fruited tomatoes. Fruiting richly: the bush is hung with garlands of huge pepper-shaped tomatoes. The variety is tall, universal, in its characteristics it is almost one-to-one similar to the variety Purple pride with the exception of the green color of the fruit, the skin of which becomes golden when ripe shade.

The pulp is quite dense, ideal for making sauces and dishes of exotic green colors (for example, chutneys made from green-fruited tomatoes). The taste of the fruits of this variety is noticeably different from lettuce green-fruited varieties, they are more like red-fruited, fleshy, but do not spread in salads. They are also very well preserved.

Cherry tomato Dr. Carolyn / Dr. Carolyn

Super variety of cherry tomatoes. Medium-early yielding variety, bears fruit abundantly until frost, without losing taste. The bushes are strong, spreading, densely leafy, hung with tomatoes, like toys. But the most interesting thing about this variety is the taste: bright sparkling ovaries, weighing 15-20 g, very tasty and sweet. It's candy, cream candy!

Evil Olive

Varieties of terracotta-mustard, olive, carrot flowers are little-known, they are just gaining their popularity. However, such tomatoes are a godsend for exotic lovers, for those who are in search of the unusual and are open to new tastes.

Hawaiian Pineapple

There are a lot of two-color varieties of tomatoes, so it is always difficult to decide which one to choose. Hawaiian Pineapple is the largest of the bicolors. If we normalize the number of fruits, then they grow huge, up to 1 kg and more.

The fruit is a solid, bright, sweet, juicy pulp. Ideal for juices, sweet sauces and fresh consumption.
