Friends, great hello to everyone! The discrepancy between my expectations and reality haunts me throughout the construction of the house.

• While the foundation was being poured, winter came. The box was gone the next season.
• I thought I would build the walls in a month ( it is in one person 🤣), stretched out for the whole summer.
• I put in a rafter system, and also soaked her all autumn in the rains ...

In general, "everything is according to plan."

And now, it would seem, I finished not the simplest work, to insulate the foundation slab from the inside, and you can exhale a little ...

But no, one completed work requires starting a new one.

I mean that after laying the insulation, you need to pour the screed on top.

✅ But according to all the "rules" of my self-construction, in the near future this will not work.

❗ And the main reason is that winter is outside.

• The sand is hidden somewhere in the snow, you can't dig it out.
• There are also some difficulties with water.

And the process itself... I don't even want to imagine how to fill a screed in a semi-heated house, without normal ventilation.

Therefore, we are waiting for spring ...

But what will happen to the EPPS during this time ???

Yes, on the one hand, the EPS is strong and can withstand heavy loads. But this is if we consider the compression over the entire area.

And pointwise, everything is very bad. Of course, you can walk, but only carefully, and this does not always work. And during the editing process, I made sure how easily the EPS is damaged.

The only thing I can do is close the passage areas with something.
