The result is a trick for soaking seeds
The woman had no concern, she wanted to grow many varieties of seeds one by one. At first I decided to sow dry, but I thought: they need to increase their immunity, the varieties are all unfamiliar, no matter how the seedlings die.
So I soaked every seed in Flora S. for at least a day.
What a marvel! Well, the cotton pads ran out quickly. It was inconvenient to use rags in such quantity. And then…
Such an old new thing - how I soaked the seeds
The main thing is not to confuse!
All tomato seeds were divided into beds in the greenhouse. For example, the northern bed - large red tomatoes, numbers 1 through 14. In a notebook I wrote a grade under each number.
I took the cover from the mini greenhouse, wrote on it indelible marker numbers. Duplicated with shortcuts:
And then the most interesting thing. Embossed double-layer toilet paper is the perfect replacement for cotton pads.
- Sliced
- I put a piece on my hand (this is how the amount of solution is felt)
- Watered gently from a syringe (27 ml) with Flora C solution
- Laid the seeds
- I folded it in half and put it on the desired number
- The structure was stationary on the table
- Covered with polyethylene on top
For 1.5 days, nothing dried up, what the humidity was, it remained the same.
This is how I got seeds:
Why four seeds if you need one? To have healthy competition for seeds. I noticed that the root develops better this way, if nearby fellow-tomatoes are fighting for a place in the sun.
Some seeds have hatched:
They were easily separated from the paper. I overmoistened some pieces, this did not affect the seeds in a bad way, only the sodden paper was torn and I got the seeds with less pleasure.
Almost everyone has already ascended. So the way is working. Only, obviously not any toilet paper will do.
Have you ever soaked your seeds this way?
I would be grateful for your subscription and communication :)
