Seedlings stretched out ugly and died? There is salvation, I tell you simple steps

Flaming fireworks, comrades summer residents! Elongated seedlings are on the agenda today. And a plan of action, how to correct the outrage and not be left in the fools.

Rather, get to work

Looking to turn hair plants into healthy plants? Take urgent action, comrades. Don't expect the problem to suddenly resolve itself. No, he will not dare. Moreover: the longer the seedlings are in a depressed state, the longer and stronger the negative consequences will be.

Seedlings lie down with gardeners:

  • Keeping seedlings too warm. I look in bewilderment at the people who put young seedlings on the battery. High temperatures are good for seed germination, but not for the first stage of seedling growth.
It shouldn't be THAT!
  • Greenhouse adepts. This high humidity is needed, again, only for seed germination. Keeping seedlings in them after the cotyledon leaves appear is harmful, because it is too hot inside.
  • Those who deny the need for bright light for seedlings and despise colleagues who have hung supplemental lights.
  • Forgetting about the container. Happens to everyone!

I will add that if the time permits, it is better to sow again. Still, staying in an extended state at the beginning of life significantly inhibits the development of the plant and makes it weaker.

Step one and the most obvious

Seeing elongated seedlings, feel free to go for soil, containers or seedling boxes. Because all this "beauty" must be immediately transplanted by deepening the cotyledon leaves. Or at least as much as possible.

The only way out without which other actions are meaningless

If the plants grow at a distance from each other, then you can try to huddle each seedling. A grown light green brush - either thin out and huddle, or spend the evening parsing the plantation.

At this point, it is very important not to turn the ground into a swamp. The soil should be moist, but not wet. Otherwise, the already weak "Deadwood"will finish off the black leg. If it can be avoided, then 80-90% (in my experience) of long blades give lateral roots. Whether the saved seedlings will become full-fledged seedlings depends on further care.

Step two (optional, but very effective)

The drug "Athlete": tested - works

Now we need to force the sunbeds to stop growing up and transfer the priority to the direction of growing roots. How to do this with the help of special care - I will write below. In the meantime, I propose to stop shaking at the word "chemistry" and buy it in the "Athlete" store.

This is the growth inhibitor of the green part. Young seedlings, as you know, cannot sit idle. Therefore, they will begin to build up roots and thicken the trunk. "Athlete" is chemical, has no analogues and... are the best that mankind has created for elongated seedlings on the windows of fellow summer residents.

Step three: conditions for salvation

Healthy seedlings are important not only for vegetable crops, but also for flower crops.

If, after all, from the advice to pour your sleek tomatoes with bourgeois chemistry with GMOs, your eyes begin to twitch and I want to spit on the screen from my offer to buy an "Athlete", then I only suggest revising the conditions content. If the transplanted seedlings still taste the growth regulator, then you will have to do the same.

It is logical that if the seedlings are pulled out from a lack of light and high temperature, then you need to do the opposite.. Put it cool and increase the lighting (change the place or buy a lamp). Or fulfill at least one of these conditions. Remember, citizens: spring only plays into our hands. The lighting is growing every day.

What kind of seedlings you grow - such a crop and you will collect

ALL. Transplant with deepening - treatment with the "Athlete" at will - light and (or) temperature reduction) - the only chain of actions that escapes elongated seedlings. But I, taking my leave, still advise you not to wag your nerves and sow again. If the article was helpful - press FINGER UP, comrade! And for lovers of peppercorns, I suggest reading: How to feed Pepper seedlings so that they build a large "beard" of roots and grow successfully. Recipes with and without chemistry
