Powerful top dressing of Clematis in spring. Abundant flowering will not keep you waiting
Of course, every gardener would like to have such a plant as clematis. After all, these vines look so luxurious on the site that they simply fascinate anyone who sees them.
The main thing for which many people love clematis is a large number of beautiful flowers. Flowering is long, and the variety of bright colors is good news.
But not everyone dares to plant this plant. Indeed, in order for a perennial to bloom without ceasing, you need to have certain knowledge that relate to the peculiarities of growing clematis.
Over the years that I have been growing these beautiful plants, I have chosen the most optimal and best feeding recipes for myself. I want to share my experience with you.
My top dressing is prepared on the basis of yeast and some other components. Take 300 grams of yeast, 500 grams of crackers, 1 bucket of chopped nettle and 50 liters of water.
As you can imagine, the container for preparing top dressing should be large. Mix all these ingredients in it. Let the solution sit for 2 days.
After this time, dilute it with water in a ratio of 1 to 5. And you can start feeding your clematis. This is a very powerful fertilizer that will help kick start the budding process. Flowering will be not only abundant, but also bright.
I also want to warn novice gardeners against making some mistakes in growing clematis:
· During the budding period, you also need to feed the plant. Clematis need additional feeding during this period.
· If other plants respond negatively to subcortex containing chlorine, then clematis is an exception. A small content of chlorine in the soil will only benefit clematis.
· Do not use fresh organic matter as top dressing. Only rotted manure and humus are used for these purposes.
· Before fertilizing, it is imperative to remove all weeds around the bush.
· Water the plants before feeding, not after that.
· Spring feeding should be done on a regular basis. This is the only way to expect constant and abundant flowering from this plant.
In addition to the recipe that I described, you can use an infusion based on nettle and dandelions as a fertilizer. A bucket of each of these plants needs to be filled with 3 buckets of water. The solution is infused in the sun for 3 weeks. And before use, dilute it in 10 parts of water.
