Double-sided fence made of boards. Installation without nails and screws

Earlier I posted an article A wicker fence from a board. Beautiful examples and installation technologywith the option of mounting boards horizontally. The appearance of such a fence is not trivial (not like everyone else's) with the same material consumption as a fence with a classic look.

In this review, I propose to look at the options for the vertical arrangement of the board with the same weave. Moreover, in some cases, the boards may not be fixed with self-tapping screws. Some options:

A fence for such a placement of the board is needed with three crossbars (lags). Each board is bent through a center bar. Moreover, it is difficult to pull them out after installation (the boards are tense and are pressed against the jumpers). The boards are mounted as follows:

After installing the pillars and lintels, the thread is pulled along the horizontal level and the board is inserted with a bend, forming an interlacing. Each board alternates with a bend side. It turns out a double-sided fence without a single nail or self-tapping screw. Inexpensive option between neighboring plots. This option will look great on the front side of the site:

The first option is also made from a polished board without a single nail and self-tapping screw. As you can see - the crossbars from the board.

At the end of the work, the boards must be covered with decorative impregnation (glaze) for the tree. Better on an alkyd base - it is absorbed deeper into the wood.

This wicker fence looks interesting, for which fasteners are needed only to fix the boards along the edges of the section:

This fence does not need crossbars. It is only necessary to provide for mortgages in the pillars to which the span (section) will be screwed. It is screwed on in the assembled state, because assembled on a flat horizontal surface. To assemble such a fence with minimal gaps, the boards must be pre-processed in a steaming chamber. Or the thickness of the boards for easier bending should be less than the standard 25 mm.
