Transportation at home begins with deciding if it can be touched at all. For this, an examination is carried out, which issues a conclusion whether the structure will collapse during the preparatory work and directly during the transportation itself. The moment is important, because it depends on who will be responsible in the event of an emergency.

First step

When the engineers give the go-ahead, preparatory work begins. The first step is to remove the soil around the house and expose the foundation. Technological holes are made in the foundation for the installation of beams. For an ordinary frame / brick house, these are two powerful longitudinal beams and several (8–12) transverse I-beams.

Second phase

The second stage is to install these very beams. With the help of tractors and loaders, the beams are placed under the building. Several hydraulic jacks are installed under the longitudinal beams. The building is raised, the beams are placed on temporary supports and the dismantling of the foundation begins.

When the foundation is removed, excavation is carried out under the house. The soil is selected to such a level that a mini-excavator can freely fit under the structure. Further, the technique levels the area under the house. If the soil is too soft, metal sheets are laid on it.

Stage Three

The third stage is the assembly of the platform. It is mounted from individual elements (carts) right under the house. After the platform is assembled, the supporting beams are attached to it and the building is ready for transportation.

The final stage

At this stage, the site for the tractor is being prepared. Since the platform is in a pit, a smooth rise with a slight slope is created for it so that the tractor can move the entire structure smoothly and without jerks. Metal sheets are also placed under the tractor.

Home installation

When the house arrives at a new place, a foundation pit is already ready for it. Then everything remains the same, but in the reverse order: install the house in the pit; raise with jacks; install on temporary supports; build a foundation. Then the building is mounted on the base and the work is over!
