How to feed the seedlings if they are growing very slowly. I share 2 simple recipes that accelerate growth in a week
Flaming fireworks, fellow florists and gardeners!
Today on the agenda - "slow" seedlings and 2 curious fertilizing, according to my observations, really accelerate the growth of seemingly miserable seedlings. They act in different ways, but both are cool and wonderful. And together, they will kick the brakes.
If the seedlings grow slowly, there are some reasons for this.
But it would be cunning on my part not to warn. If your conditions are frankly bad, then feeding will not be able to change them, but will have very little effect.
List of conditions under which the seedlings of citizens of summer residents grew and will slowly grow:
- Weak light. Well, you don't need to put the container on the table by the window. It is better to evict a violet and an orchid from the windowsill for a couple of months. While the seedlings are in the shade, you can feed yourself and get ridiculous blades of grass.
- Dense and too wet soil. The black soil in the container is stagnant moisture leading to rotten roots. There are no healthy roots - where do you get the growth?
And for seedlings that sit around for days in loose soil under sufficient lighting, you are welcome - I offer 2 growth stimulants.
Task One: Nutritional Affairs
Give the seedlings food. It can be universal fertilizers for seedlings, or organic fertilizing with wood ash. Although I am skeptical about folk recipes, 2 years ago I became convinced of the efficiency of the ash infusion in practice.
My eustoma did not want to release the 2nd pair of true leaves, although all the deadlines had passed and the seedlings were standing under a powerful fluorescent lamp. On the advice of the newspaper, I prepared an ash solution and fed them. And after 7 days a new pair of eustoma leaves looked at me.
Wood ash is a unique product in itself. Although it belongs to organic matter, it is rich in minerals. The technology of preparation of the infusion converts them into forms that are easily assimilated by young plants with watering. Stir 1 tablespoon in 1 liter of water, insist, water. Without fanaticism, comrades, only slightly moistening the soil.
The second task: we accelerate photosynthesis and strengthen the roots
Skeptics spit in the direction of succinic acid in vain. On request "Succinic acid - photosynthesis" you can find interesting studies and dissertations. Comrade! Treatment with the agent helps plants acquire a strong root system and increases the intensity of photosynthesis.. Just a little bit, right? But this is exactly the kick that is needed for tedious seedlings, frozen in place.
Don't want to bother? Buy a bottle of "Yantarin" and use according to the instructions. You put it in a syringe, dilute it, water it. And this purchase will not ruin a single wallet.
But for reasons I do not understand, citizens prefer to go to the pharmacy, buy, press, measure, dissolve. Well, yes, we are not looking for easy ways. So does my neighbor, who shared the recipe. I repeated after her and the result is more than I arranged.
For feeding seedlings, a solution of 1% concentration is needed. And it is very convenient that the tablets contain 0.1 g of the substance. 1 piece, crushed to powder, is first dissolved in a small amount of water, then poured into 1 liter. They are also used for root dressing on wet soil, and for spraying seedlings on a leaf. If, of course, there is something to spray there.
Are you growing seedlings and was this article helpful? Click, comrade, "Thumbs up"! And I advise lovers of potatoes to look here: I asked the agronomist why I was digging out bad potatoes. And he immediately gave me 4 reasons. Now I'm tired of carrying bags
