Home-style marinated meat: a simple recipe for a delicious result
How much do you think the sausage should cost? Not the one in Magnet and Pyaterochka made of soybeans and mechanically deboned poultry, but the real one, in which real meat is present. If you find it difficult to answer, we will say: a high-quality meat sausage should cost at least 3-4 times more expensive than meat. Approximately 750-1200 rubles per kilo. Expensive! But this is not a reason to deny yourself pleasure. We will tell you a simple recipe for marinated meat, which will become a welcome delicacy on your table. Read on about this!
Required Ingredients
For this recipe you will need:
- lean pork, pulp (neck, shoulder blade, ham) - 2 kg;
- onions - 1 kg;
- bay leaf - 5 leaves;
- garlic - 5 cloves;
- allspice - 1 teaspoon;
- apple cider vinegar 6% - 100 ml;
- soy sauce natural fermentation - 75 ml;
- olive oil - 20 ml;
- lemon - 1 pc.;
- mixture of peppers - 1 pack. (15 grams);
- oregano - 10 gr;
- sugar - 40 gr;
- salt - 2 tbsp. spoons in broth and 2 tbsp. spoon in the marinade.
How to cook
Cut the meat into 0.5 kg pieces, put in a saucepan, add two medium onions, bay leaf, allspice, garlic, 2 tablespoons of salt. Pour all this with water and put on fire. Cook over low heat until tender, but so that the meat does not boil!
Remove the prepared meat from the broth and put to cool. While the meat is cooling, prepare the marinade. To do this, pour water - 0.5 liters into a separate container and add in order: vinegar, soy sauce, sugar and salt, olive oil, all the herbs and squeeze lemon there. Mix all this well and the marinade is ready.
Next, cut the chilled meat into pieces 1.5-2 centimeters thick. Cut the leftover onion into rings. Put the meat and onions in layers in a saucepan: a layer of onion - a layer of meat, and so on. When laying out the layers, fill everything evenly with marinade.
The last step is to put the pickled meat under oppression. To do this, just put a plate on top and press it with something heavy. All this is sent to the refrigerator for a day. After 24 hours, homemade marinated meat is ready!
For storage, the meat should be removed from the marinade and placed in an airtight container. The dish will certainly please all guests and will become one of the favorite appetizers to the table.
