Is it worth messing around? Mash - mung beans
Friends-entertainers could not pass by mash - a Chinese delicacy. Super helpful. ABOUT! How appetizing the Chinese tell about mung bean! This is their favorite national dish!
It is believed that mung bean is ultimately:
- Increased performance
- Good vision
- Healthy skin (must and eat mung bean, and apply a mask of sprouted beans)
- Stimulating the brain
- Correct metabolism (less fat)
- Improved functioning of the hematopoietic and digestive systems
- Normalization of blood pressure and sugar levels
- Healthy kidneys
- Strong musculoskeletal corset
This is not a complete list!
Mash is a protein source, meat substitute. Moreover! 100 g of mung bean contains 23.5 g of protein. For comparison, in beef tenderloin - 20.2 g, pork - 16 g, boiled chicken - 22.6 g, raw eggs - 12.7 g. Where is the protein more? In the mache!
There are few contraindications: diseases of the digestive system and individual intolerance.
Of course, I would like to try such a product. Friends found a video in Chinese and repeated everything step by step. You will need a colander, a container for germination, cheesecloth (in several layers) and a warm towel.
Photo report:
An important nuance: If the mung bean is not washed thoroughly before germination, pathogens will successfully multiply in it.
The swollen mung bean was placed in a colander on wet gauze and wrapped. Cover the container with a warm towel. We put it in a warm place.
Of course, everything turned out not as spectacular as that of the Chinese. The beans took much longer to sprout than in the video. So they didn't wait for longer seedlings, they tried it as it is.
It should be noted here that mung bean in the land of the rising sun is seasoned with sauce and a lot of spices before eating, so hardly anything remains of its original taste. Friends were interested in trying real mung bean, comparing it with other vegetables we are used to.
So, their opinion:
- Masha tastes like tender peas
- Compared to asparagus, it has a richer, even slightly sugary taste. Friends decided to stick with asparagus.
I didn't want to sprout mung beans.
And you?
A friend similarly sprouted chickpeas, the taste did not like:
I would be grateful for your subscription and communication :)
