Just imagine how much you need to put in the kitchen: furniture, large and small household appliances and at least some modest decor. And if all this is placed incorrectly, then it will be non-functional, ugly and uncomfortable, with a lot of accompanying drawbacks.

2.Sterile color palette. It is generally accepted that light shades are not suitable for the kitchen. They are supposedly too impractical. This is not entirely true, because it is with their help that you can make a miniature space visually larger than it really is. The main thing is not to forget to add bright touches, and then the kitchen will not seem like a completely sterile room. These can be furniture, fittings, textiles or accessories.

And also keep in mind that the “darkest” part of the interior should be the work surfaces: the countertop and the backsplash of the kitchen unit. For them, you can choose medium shades of the color palette.

3.Dining area. Even if no more than 2-3 people permanently live in your apartment, it is advisable to foresee in advance a little more seats in the kitchen: in case relatives and friends come to visit! Therefore, I strongly recommend paying attention to the solid seat in the form of a bench - it will increase the number of seats, and zone the space, and add functionality to the kitchen.

For under such a bench, you can easily and simply make a spacious box for storing all sorts of things: household appliances, utensils, food for long-term storage, etc. A great way to partially free the kitchen headset.

4.Hidden reserve. Is your kitchen really tiny? No problem. You can save a few more square centimeters (or even a whole meter) using a folding table or table top. These surfaces can only be laid out while cooking or eating. The rest of the time, clean, so as not to interfere.

There are also options for folding chairs and stools. They can become a real "magic wand" in such a limited space.

5.Glossy surface. Gloss is not only beautiful, but also practical! Especially if you have a miniature kitchen. It reflects light, enlarges it and visually pushes the walls. Moreover, the smaller the area of ​​the room, the more noticeable this effect.
