A familiar seller in the market suggested what to do so that the feet would not freeze in severe frost
The other day I decided to stop by our local market to buy new warm winter fishing boots. The lining of the old boots was very worn out, and they practically did not warm the legs anymore.
This day turned out to be very frosty and the thermometer dropped below 20 degrees, so there were practically no people on the market.
But, despite this, all the sellers were in their places and in order to somehow warm their legs, many of them shifted from foot to foot, dancing slightly. Wow, and I do not envy them, because in such weather, even woolen socks will not really save.
Passing between the rows, I met my friend Evdokia Pavlovna, who was selling boots. Despite her advanced age, she was sitting calmly on a chair, as if the frost was nothing to her. "Hello, Evdokia Pavlovna! And how can you only withstand such frosts? "- I asked. Smiling, she replied: "Eh, sonny, this is not the first year I have been working in the market! The most important thing is to keep your feet warm. " And then
she shared with me one trick, thanks to which my feet will not freeze even in the most severe frost. And why didn't I think of this before?Everything turned out to be easy! All you need to do is make a small revision of your shoes, which will take 5 minutes at most! Looking ahead, I will say that the method is really working and I have never had such warm feet, so I did this trick with all my winter shoes. Now I will share this trick with you..
And so, first of all, you need to get one insole out of the shoe.
We also need a small piece of the most common insulation with laminated reflective aluminum foil 6 - 8 millimeters thick (more is possible).
We attach the insole to the insulation and circle it twice with a marker.
Then we take scissors and cut out the blanks. As a result, we get two shiny insoles like this.
Now we insert these insoles into the boots (shiny side up). Due to the property of this insulation, the shoes will not let the cold through and your feet will be warmed up by their own heat, as it will be reflected from the surface of the insoles. That's the whole secret. If you haven't tried it, be sure to use this advice!
