Why does everyone want a more powerful armopoyas? I am showing my "frail" version of the design, and how it feels two years later.
Again, many will say that they save where they do not need it. And it seems to me that I just acted according to the situation ...
Friends, a big hello to everyone. Many times already, I stumble upon the same question in the comments to my articles:
"Why is there no armopoyas in your aerated concrete house?"
And I immediately understand that people represent just such a structure.
β Concrete armopoyas, for the entire thickness of the wall.
Although there is also an armored belt in the design of my house, it is much more modest and invisible.
I have already described all the details of its manufacture (if interested, read here). Its main feature is a section of 150 by 100 mm.
The concrete was poured not into U-blocks, but into the formwork made of separate aerated concrete elements, which were more convenient to cut out.
And so, my arguments for such dimensions.
- My house only has one floor, so there is no such heavy load.
- Wooden flooring and metal roofing, also have a relatively low weight.
- The rafter system does not act on the spacer, since the rafter legs and floor beams are connected in a single triangle.
So the main task of my armopoyas is this is just a safety net. Many would not do it at all ...
And what happened to all this?
Nothing wrong. Perhaps many will say that two years is not an indicator, but the main weights of the armopoyas are already loaded.
β This is the roof itself with insulation.
β And the structure has already endured two winters, with snow loads and frost tests.
There will be no further major changes.
Therefore, I see no point in bulky armored belts where it is not needed.
So I made the right decision here, and once again made sure that you need to adapt to each situation. Or not?
