My wife did not even hope that her instrument could be repaired, but I did it - I am learning to cook

For several years now I have a dream to buy my own welding machine. I even learned how to use it, borrowed from friends and relatives, but I could not buy my own. Well, my family gave me a long-awaited gift for my birthday - the Resant welder.

But I received not only a welder, but also a mask with a light filter as a gift. Which, of course, I was very happy about. The light filter in this mask is controllable, that is, it automatically turns on and off dimming when the arc is burning and after it. That is, you do not need to lift the mask every time, it is very convenient.

The mask itself is plastic, the mount is adjustable, which you can immediately adjust for yourself and you can no longer change its position.

Such a welding machine is perhaps the best that can be used on the farm. It is not too powerful, but also not weak, for construction, equipment repair and welding of small parts - an excellent option. More powerful ones are required for constant work, but they consume a lot more electricity.

The wife, of course, immediately remembered her favorite pitchfork, which for a couple of years she had left without one tooth. These forks are at least 50 years old. They were made in the USSR and went to his wife from her mother, a noble gardener. She broke one of the teeth, so she used a three-pronged pitchfork.

Of course, she doubted that I would be able to repair them. Since someone has already tried to do them, but could not. And now, the hour has come to test my welder in action.

To weld a tooth onto a pitchfork, of course, I had to take a pad from the reinforcement. After all, he must firmly hold in his place.

I had to tinker with them, because my wife strictly forbade removing the stalk, because it was nailed and screwed, and she was afraid that the stalk would split when it separated from the pitchfork.

At first it did not look the most presentable way - the fittings are very thick and ugly. But then I sharpened the weld spot and it looked better. Now you can use the pitchfork fully.

Resant's apparatus showed itself from the best side. The fact that he is new, apparently, also played a role, but he works quickly, accurately. The welding current operates in the range from 10 to 190 A.

The welder has a hot start function. With its help, you can perform any work faster and better. Its essence is that an additional current is thrown at the moment the electrode touches the part.

Resanta's weight is small - 4.7 kg. There is a carrying strap. The welding cables are a little short, I know this drawback from the apparatus that I took from a friend. And their braid is soft, it can melt. I plan to change them soon in order to use them with pleasure in any conditions.

Now my workshop is fully stocked.
