Every summer resident wants to collect a bountiful harvest. But at the same time, it is important that the grown fruits and vegetables are environmentally friendly, grown without nitrates and other hazardous chemicals.

I have long given up on harmful drugs that can harm my health, and more and more often I use folk remedies. Regular baking soda can increase the yield of cucumbers and resist diseases and pests, the main thing is to use it correctly.

The benefits of soda

In order not to lose crops, by giving up chemicals, they can be replaced with baking soda. It has an antibacterial effect and is guaranteed to increase the yield.

The benefits of soda at their summer cottage:

· Helps to disinfect seeds before sowing;

· Significantly improves the taste characteristics of the fruit;

· Is a nutritious feeding;

· Treats fungal diseases of plants;

· Helps to reduce the acidity of the soil;

· Fights parasites.

Experienced gardeners noted that sodium bicarbonate (soda), in addition to the above properties, helps to increase the yield of cucumbers and strengthen the immune system of the crop.

If you feed the cucumbers with soda, then their taste will change for the better, it will be sweeter, without bitterness. Also, soda does an excellent job with fungal diseases.

How to prepare a solution

For the preparation of nutritious feeding, I breed 3 tbsp. baking soda in 10 liters of warm water. For a soda solution, use settled water, not lower than room temperature. Sometimes I use rainwater.

The first feeding is of particular importance, it is the most important. Thanks to her, not only the growth of the bushes is enhanced, but also the yield is increased.

The first time I water the cucumbers with a soda solution 14 days after planting the plants in the ground. I add the next top dressing 2 weeks after the first one.

For higher yields, you can water soda every week, but at the same time I reduce the concentration of soda by adding 1 tablespoon of powder to 5 liters of liquid. For each bush, you will need 2 liters of solution.

Special recommendations:

· Use soda fertilizer together with watering;

· Watering is carried out early in the morning or after sunset;

· Do not overfeed vegetables with soda, this can negatively affect the size of the fruit.

Foliar dressing can be used. To do this, I treat the leaves of the culture with a soda solution for preventive purposes, pouring liquid into a spray bottle.
