Unnecessary automation of my electrical switchboard. What would I change after a few years of use?
The case when you entrust the work to a professional, and he does everything at his discretion. But you live in this house ...
Friends, I am glad to welcome you. When three years ago, I decided to build a house myself, I was determined and full of self-confidence (so far nothing has changed 😎). The only thing I didn’t want to do was work related to electricity.
Therefore, I entrusted the whole business to a professional.
But the mistake was that I did not even try to delve into this topic.
The assembly of the introductory panel, and all the connection was done for me ready-made, just pay.
And all the necessary automation was supplied "to the taste" of the electrician who did everything.
And only three years later it dawned on me ...
When the time is right for the internal electrical of the whole house, I nevertheless decided to deal with this issue on my own, at least for understanding. And I realized that everything is not so difficult as it seemed before.
Now, looking at my introductory electrical panel, I understand that I would have done everything a little differently.
Of course the base must remain. An introductory machine for 25 A (to limit 15 kW of power), and you can't go anywhere with the meter.
But then everything could be done differently.
Difautomat (C25, 30 mA), which stands after the introductory machine, I would change it to an RCD (100 or 300mA), so that it is just fireproof.
- Firstly, I do not see the point of this device precisely as an "automaton", since it already has an introductory one in front of it, with the same restriction.
- Secondly, in the current situation, it turns out that the whole house will depend on a leakage current of 30 mA, and frequent (false) alarms are inevitable.
At the same time, IEK does not inspire confidence either... Apparently the electrician bought what was available.
Now, automata on each phase (two 16 A, and one 10 A). It seems to me that they are not needed here at all.
I think that the task of the input switchboard is simply to take (if I may put it that way) electricity from the support, and distribute it to subsequent large consumers. Namely, a house, a bathhouse, a garage, a yard, etc.
And that's all these automata (which I see not one, and not two for each phase) should be located already in the shields inside these rooms.
Of course, I don't blame the electrician.
After all, he could not know all the nuances, and my views on his house. Just once again I am convinced that even if you do not do it with your own hands, then with your own head, it is necessary to be in the construction process.
Friends, I look forward to your advice and comments in the comments. This will be very useful, because the electrical work in the house is still ahead.
