Gloomy and unpleasant collections of tiles and porcelain stoneware in Castorama - like a funeral home

The shops that sell ceramic tiles and porcelain stoneware seem to have everything and you can choose for every taste. But the problem is that in shopping centers this year prices for goods for repair and construction have grown by no less than 50%. And you have to look for everything in those stores where at least coca decency in prices is still observed. One of these stores was the Castorama Shopping Center. It was possible to choose anything for the house and summer cottages. While the house was being built, we became regular customers there.

That is why, counting on reasonable prices and a large selection, we went to the store for tiles in our bathroom. We also went because we saw an advertisement on the site - new collections of tiles and porcelain stoneware came.

We show what we saw in the shopping center. The tiles, as always, are displayed in sets - floor, walls, decoration. But moving from one corner with samples to another, we felt how despondency simply took possession of us.

Gloomy, gray, sad sets. Such a set, marbled, was the lightest and most "cheerful" of all. But in a bathroom with such a pattern on the walls, there is nothing remarkable, it is boring and always seemingly dirty.

There is nothing to say about the second set, it just does not deserve words.

But the price for it - porcelain stoneware - of a disgusting color at a rather large cost!

Then it went even worse - the same indistinct color floor and walls are offered to "decorate" with chocolate-colored finishing.

But then some more or less striking design appeared. But he is still gloomy. Dark walls, floor. The bright part of the tiles undoubtedly decorates the interior. But she has some shiny blotches that make her look cheaper. Like lurex on grandma's sweater. And the price - 1154 rubles - is incredibly high.

City kit. Also black and gray. I can imagine the emotions when I come home from work in autumn or winter, everything is dirty, slush, dullness on the street. I want to take a shower, get warm. I go into the bathroom, and there is the same dullness, the same cityscape... Awful.

But this tile, at least, is cheaper. But I can't call it publicly available either. And such beauty is not needed even for nothing.

The next sample corner is the same picture. I do not understand why they occupy the store floor with their exhibits, each of which looks worse than before. Maybe the designer of this department is always depressed? This is the only explanation. It is confirmed by the following sample.

Again gray, brown, sandy tones. Placing them diagonally does not soften the picture in the least.

But the price due to the fact that it is porcelain stoneware, respectively, is 2 times higher.

Here is the most joyous tile set from this gray gloom. Although the color scheme is still the same here, I will not list it. Of course, the zigzag pattern on the tiles softens and diversifies the picture. But, since we saw him the last, we ourselves have practically fallen into depression.

The price for tiles is also lower than for porcelain stoneware.

I want to give some advice to those who want to cry, but there is no reason - go to Castorama and see the new tile collection. And tears will come to your eyes of their own accord.
