Composition of the universal remedy

The crystalline substance was used by my grandmother almost 30 years ago: there were nylon covers on the floor with a treat for ginger house ants.

Recently, I remembered the drug when I saw the ant paths near the bushes of roses and currants. To kill insects, I mixed 1 pack (10 g) of boric acid, boiled eggs - 3 pcs. and half a teaspoon of honey.

Bait preparation: step by step instructions

The components were connected in the following order:

· Put honey in a bowl;

• separated and chopped the yolks, put the whites aside;

· Poured out the contents of the bag with acid;

· Mixed everything until a homogeneous mass is obtained.

A small amount of the mixture is sufficient to feed the ants. If the nest is voluminous, it is surrounded on all sides.

Within half an hour, the ants empty the container. Workers carry away the bait, feed the queen and the young. But it is not worth hoping that the anthill will freeze immediately. Boron affects the reproductive functions of the uterus ant. When new individuals stop being born, the colony decreases and disappears.

Recommendations relate to safety, and their observance affects the effectiveness of the drug:

1. The time for boiling eggs should not be 5-7 minutes, as usual. The longer you boil, the tastier the egg smell will seem to the pests. This is the main secret of the old recipe in the Soviet Union.
2. After eating the bait, goosebumps are thirsty, so I remove the water.
3. When working with toxic boron, I wear gloves and make sure it does not get into my eyes.
4. The drug is harmful to the health of dogs and cats. To protect the pet, I put the bait in a box or container, cover it with a lid with holes made. I use it outside the reach of bees.
5. Ants adapt and learn quickly. You can see how they carry the "goodies" away from the ant's house. They recognize the poison if the dose is too high. If it is insufficient, there will be no effect.
6. Goosebumpsyou need to re-feed, but not constantly: they cease to like the mixture.
7. I hide the finished product away from children. I keep it in the cellar.
