The construction of the first plant for the production of shock drones has started in Russia

The first specialized plant for the production of unmanned aerial vehicles by such a company as Kronshtadt will be built in the Russian Federation. At the same time, the construction time of the plant is as short as possible and it should start work in November this year. This was reported to RIA Novosti.

New plant and its future

Representatives of the "Kronstadt" company began construction of a plant in a city like Dubna. This place was not chosen by chance, since it is in this city that industry and production are quite well developed. In addition, this is a real center of truly important enterprises for our Motherland.

So, according to the plan, over four billion rubles will be invested in the enterprise, and the already completed facility will provide permanent jobs for over 1,500 people. And tax deductions to the country's budget will amount to about 900 million rubles annually.

What the plant will produce

So, the company "Kronstadt" is the developer of such a flying strike UAV as "Pacer" (the device is also known under the name "Orion"). This war bird is capable of lifting up to 200 kg of combat load and has already been tested in special operations in Syria. In addition, Orion has reconnaissance and civilian modifications.

According to company representatives, their product is capable of staying in the sky for up to a day and has a maximum take-off weight of 1100 kg.

In addition, the company's engineers are also working on a group-use unmanned complex codenamed "Molniya" and still heavy attack drones "Thunder".

According to the calculations of specialists, the capacity of the new plant will fully cover the need for such aircraft, both at the request of the Ministry of Defense and other potential customers of the Iinohodtsa.
