How to make a drain hole behind a fence, it's forbidden! There is one trick!

Hello. I would like to tell you about one trick that concerns so many owners of private houses without a central sewerage system. Each of them has a drain pit, or "septic tank". According to our laws, a septic tank can only be made on the territory that is in your property, and the pit must be made either of concrete or of plastic so that waste does not fall into groundwater.

But, if you equip a good overflow system, then you can not make the bottom in the pit, and in the last pit the water will go into the ground, and only solid waste will remain in the first one. People are already pumping it out as needed.

But what if there is simply no place in the local area to make an overflow pit?

I personally went to the village administration and found out this issue - can I make an overflow pit behind the fence of my site? The answer was categorical NOT, without any reservations.

I am a stubborn person, so I became interested in those who made such a hole behind the fence and calmly use it for years without any pretensions. They dug it in front of me, and no one said a word to them -

don't we have equality? As it turned out, they officially dug, not a drain hole, but a drainage hole, which is used to prevent water from collecting at the fences after snow and rain.

Isn't it brilliant?

The puzzle came together in my head and I called the administration again to find out if I could dig a hole near the fence for drainage from melt water near my own fence.

The answer has changed - they said that you can dig, unless some kind of communications, pipes or cables were laid next to the house.

I realized that people simply connect the drainage pit and the drainage, and all the water goes into the soil, and a thick mass of waste remains in the first drainage pit - the problem is solved very simply. In this case, you will have to pump out the pit no more than once a year.

And I'll tell you a little how exactly I made such a hole

  • I dug the volume with an excavator and lowered concrete rings and a cover there using a tow truck.
  • Then he drilled a hole in the concrete cover - the neighbor did not bother and made it with a crowbar. .
  • After that, it was necessary to make a hole for the drain pit, which is located on the site and lay ordinary pipes for the sewage system.
  • Then he filled the cracks with foam and covered the hole with soil.
  • On top of the soil, if you wish, you can pour soil and make a front garden, a small flower bed, or use it at your discretion. The administration will never dig in, because in this case no one has violated anything!
