The time has come for the final part of finishing our kitchen
We invited the master, he measured everything, we discussed all the options. We agreed on the time when we would stretch the canvas and came to the lighting. We do not want to complicate anything and decided to make simple spotlights in the kitchen area, in the bar area and in the dining area. Maybe someday we will change this decision and hang the chandeliers, but for now it will be so.
We left the choice of lamps for ourselves, because we already bought them for the rooms on the second floor and we know how difficult it is to choose what we like.
We arrived at the store, where we decided what to buy, because the choice is quite large. There is a lot of information on banners that will help even an inexperienced buyer make a choice.
The information is very useful, even we, experienced in the choice of spotlights, consulted it.
Infographics even help you calculate the number of fixtures if it is not counted in the room, or check if it is calculated correctly.
I wanted lamps with a mirrored rim, which would reflect furniture, textiles and support the entire interior of green with this reflection. For example, I am standing under this lamp in a pink coat, and it looks like pink. If there is a green sofa under it, the rim of the lamp will support it in green on the ceiling.
There are not so many of them, but all the same, a choice of 4-5 types can be made.
And we found such lamps. They are not the cheapest, but also not expensive.
After the lamps were selected, put into a basket, it was the turn to choose bulbs for them.
There are two types of lamps - warm light and cold light. Their packages differ in the appropriate range - warm or cold.
I like cold light, but I do not want to impose my point of view on anyone, here it is for an amateur and for everyone's taste.
Our lamps are large, so the bulbs are large, not small, as we have on the 2nd floor. The fact is that after we stretch the ceiling, we will still have a height of 285 cm, so the light should be strong.
Everyone can choose what they like. The whole question is only about money. There are very beautiful spots protruding from the ceiling, I am delighted with them and in the hallway we are planning just such. But in the kitchen, I don't find them practical. Yes, and very expensive, we are planning 14 lamps.
I hope my advice will help someone with a choice.
