Suburban life is not only a garden, a vegetable garden and housework, but also recreation, which includes fishing. Perhaps everyone loves to sit on the shore with a fishing rod. But fishing means trophies, and getting them is not so easy! The user of our portal Maxim will tell you how to make a delicacy out of ordinary worms that actively lures fish.

A little about my experience

I am a native Astrakhan. I love fishing, I have been fishing since childhood and I know a lot about this business. During my 49 years I have tried all kinds of fishing methods - nets, ventilators, and fishing rods of all stripes. Now most of these fishing techniques are illegal, so I pay special attention to the bait.

Worms are a versatile bait that works all year round. When the fish was in bulk, any were suitable: even if you collect white rainwater in the field, biting will be provided. But what can I say - it happened that the vobla was caught on an empty hook. Now there are few fish and it is capricious, what kind of bait is not to be caught.

Observation

It was in September. I don't remember the year, but about 2010. I came to Erik Nozhovsky to catch buffaloes - that's what we call crucian carp. Found a place, set up fishing rods. As bait, corn and worms (in recent years I breed worms myself). I sit, wait - zero bites.

An hour and a half passed, and I caught a few tarts and one buffalo. At the same time, on the other side of the erik, a man is carrying carp. Everything is like a selection - one and a half to two kilos. Well, I wait another 40 minutes, he bites, but I have silence. I think I'll go and ask what he's catching on.

I crossed the bridge on purpose. I ask: "What are you catching with?" He replies: "For corn!" I see that he really has corn, but not like mine from Magnet, but Bonduelle. I asked him for some of this wonderful corn and went to my shore. And what do you think? Four carp in an hour!

Began to think why the fish bite on the corn of one manufacturer, but does not touch another? It dawned on me! It's all about attractants, if in simple words - chemical enhancers of taste. Indeed, why do we eat one thing and we don't like the other? For example, corn, it's all from one bush! But we prefer some brands and don't buy others. It's about food chemistry!

Special attractants and flavors are also sold in fishing shops. I tried them: I soaked both peas and corn. But they do not work very efficiently. It is rather a marketing ploy by manufacturers.

Fishermen also add garlic or sunflower oil to corn and peas. Some even squeeze garlic into a jar of worms. It also works - someone bites, and someone does not. As a result of all the reflections, I came up with and tested my own super-method, which I am sharing.

How I Make Worms Delicacy

What is wildly popular among young people in our country? What are you eating and not full? I will not languish in anticipation - these are chips. So two days before fishing, I dig out the worms, put them in a small wooden box with earth, crush some chips there and mix well. That's all! The fish go to such a treat like crazy. I have been using this method for 8 years and it works fine.

Why do chips work, but flavors from fishing shops don't? I also thought about this question and came to the following conclusion: we pour additives by eye, and in chips their amount is initially balanced. We can overfill or not report. It's like in the kitchen: you've peppered the soup and no one will eat it. Here also. Fish, she is also a gourmet and loves exceptionally good treats!
