Diamond cutter nut for angle grinders instead of the standard nut. Quickly chamfer tiles without moving the disc
Those masters who constantly work with tiles, porcelain stoneware, monitor the quality, but also value their time. It takes a lot of tools to comply with all of this. In order not to constantly rearrange discs, cutters, grinding wheels - such masters have several angle grinders.
It turns out that there is a nut in the form of a diamond cutter, which will help to combine on one grinder both a diamond disc and a disc for chamfering and grinding the edge.
Instead of a conventional or quick-clamping nut, a nut of a larger diameter is installed on the angle grinder, on the front side of which there is a diamond-coated surface. The nut still grips the disc, which can be used to cut the tiles. And if you immediately need to chamfer the tile, then we do it with a nut:
The cutter nut has an M14 thread. The diameter of the nut is 49 mm. Designed for angle grinders with 125 mm discs. Produced in Ukraine by DiStar. For some reason, the Chinese manufacturers have not yet thought of producing such nuts. We have not yet learned about such a rig. I think this is temporary. After all, the production of diamond powder is well developed in China. Moreover, the cost of this nut will be lower for them. In the meantime, it is being sold at a price of 1900 rubles.
Although the nut is sold on aliexpress, there is a fast delivery from a warehouse in the Russian Federation. Usually arrives 10 days in advance. Link to the seller. The nut is available in two versions: coarse grit 70/80 for fast removal of large amounts of material and grit 100/120 for finer edging work.

A short video demonstrating how this nut-milling cutter works:
After cutting the tiles with a grinder, chips may remain. With this cutter, without removing the main disk, they grind the edge or chamfer for better joining of the tiles into the outer corner. But the question arises: how to unscrew this nut if the disk is clamped? It is clear that it is better to twist the disc by hand and put a spacer made of cardboard. But still…
Judging by the date the roller was placed, the nut has been produced for at least two years. But due to the high price, it has not yet spread.
