Are there many flowers on the trees, but few fruits? We tell you a simple way to increase yields

Spring - apple trees, pears, cherries, sweet cherries and apricots are in full bloom and promise a rich harvest. But when the flowering passes, it becomes clear that there will be few fruits. Problem

Most fruit trees and shrubs, as well as some varieties of cucumbers and tomatoes, are entomophilous plants. This means that insects must participate in the process of pollination of these plants. The amount of the future harvest depends on how bees and other pollinators work.

Previously, this problem did not exist - there were enough pollinating insects in any region and they did an excellent job with their work. But now farmers go to great lengths to get large yields and use all kinds of pesticides for this.

Not only pests but also bees suffer from toxic chemistry. Every year their population decreases, which affects the pollination of plants. The harvest also suffers from this in our gardens and orchards. It turns out that there are not enough pollinating insects for everyone and many trees suffer from this. What should an ordinary gardener do in this case? There are two ways!

Decision. Method one: plant plants that attract pollinators

To attract bees and other pollinators, breeders recommend planting bulbous plants: galanthus, redwood, chionodox and others from this series. The primroses of these plants will definitely attract bees to your site!

But primroses do not last long, and their effect must be enhanced by other plants. A good bait for pollinating insects are: lemon balm, hyssop, felicia, mint, oregano, gooseberry.

Method two: spraying flowering plants with water and honey

This method requires a garden pollinator, well water (required!) And some natural honey. In one liter of warm water, add one tablespoon of honey (without a slide) and stir until completely dissolved. Next, spray the solution onto the flowers of the trees. This method will also attract natural pollinators.

The procedure must be done once, as soon as the plants begin to bloom. Have a good harvest everyone!
