For there is an apartment in which there will always be a place where it will be possible to arrange young seedlings of cucumbers and tomatoes, containers with spicy herbs, trays of strawberries, pots of radishes, etc. But one way or another, soon the lack of surface will make itself felt, and then what do?

Use modern design solutions! They are versatile, roomy, comfortable and extremely organic, as they can naturally fit into the interior of the apartment, without spoiling it at all. And sometimes even transforming, making it more modern, more beautiful and visually interesting. In general, I suggest you roll up your sleeves and try to combine a practical vegetable garden and a decorative element in your apartment.

And to make it easier for you to understand what I am talking about, I have prepared 5 ways to organize a cool "garden" at home - both indoors and on the balcony.

1.Two in one (apartment / balcony). It is no secret that there are a lot of heat-loving crops that do not yield a crop without a greenhouse. So, in order not to be "meteosensitive" in terms of gardening and be able to grow fresh vitamins round year, I would advise you to build (or order) a small home greenhouse from bars and slats, glass or polycarbonate.

Then, even on an open balcony, a mini-greenhouse will protect young shoots from wind and cold. And if, in addition, you attach simple wheels to its legs, then during natural "cataclysms" it will be possible to move it into an apartment without any problems.

2.Multifunctional element (balcony). As you know, plants not only give water, but also feed! So the design below allows you to save time for feeding seedlings and money for purchasing fertilizers. Because it combines two trays for growing a variety of greens and a composter, in which you can put any food waste (vegetable peel, eggshell, tea leaves, etc.).

And it can also be extremely compact, which means that it can easily fit even on a narrow small balcony.

3.Multilevel construction (balcony). Decently increasing the area of ​​the balcony garden is possible if you place seedlings in several levels using a similar metal structure. Which is both practical and aesthetic. It is only necessary to paint the structure itself with ordinary black paint, and cover the wooden trays with stain or varnish. And that's it - the decorative element is ready!

By the way, I almost forgot. To provide all plants with enough light, it is advisable to arrange the trays in a checkerboard pattern. Then there will be enough light for everyone!

4.Miniature greenhouse (apartment). This begs the question: what should those who do not have a balcony do? Make or order a stylish wooden and glass mini-greenhouse. Such greenhouses make it easy to create such a microclimate that is best for would contribute to the development and growth of all kinds of crops: from vegetables to fruit "Mini-trees".

It should be understood that the mini-greenhouse should be located at a sufficient height from the floor! Then it will be convenient for you to care for the plants, and there will be plenty of light for them.
