A neat cable box, is it real at all? Conclusions after laying the wiring with your own hands.
Making wiring without projects and diagrams is still a puzzle, especially when I did not deal with electrical wiring at all. And of course, it was not without flaws ...
Friends, I am glad to welcome you to my channel. It always seemed to me that the most difficult thing is to think over the electrical circuit. And it's much easier to complete it.
But I had to do the design and the electrical installation itself at the same time.
Everything is in the style of a "novice self-builder". The whole thing happens in my little basement, which I equip for my homemade water purification system.
The volume of work here is relatively small, but time was taken up by the inconvenience of a small space and my inexperience.
I got special "pleasure" in working with junction boxes.
And at the very first wire connections, I realized that it was not in vain that I chose crimping.
I can't imagine how I would fiddle with welding or soldering in such a cramped environment.
✅ And with the clamps, it was going well.
In addition, I also used Wago terminals for float sensors.
I just do not know how else to connect a multi-wire core with a solid one. If you know a way, write in the comments.
After isolation, all that remained was to put everything in a box.
And here there were difficulties ...
- Most likely I took the boxes too small.
- Plus, I made the ends of the cable with a good margin.
As a result, in some boxes it was very problematic to lay the wires neatly. And what I dislike most is that I had to bend them a lot.
I hope that all these shortcomings will not particularly affect the reliability of the wiring in general.
We draw conclusions, and prepare for the main electrical installation in my house ...
