Do you want to collect a lot of delicious carrots? Then a fiery salute, comrades vegetable growers!

Today on the agenda is feeding carrots in early July, which will give root crop plantings fatherly slap on the head and send the uncouth youngsters on the right path: raising the quantity / quality of the crop.

But first, let's go to the carrot bed and try to talk to the plant in an amicable way. Let's find out what is happening with the red girl and how to help her.

Our carrots have already completed the first part of the tasks for the season. Having risen on time, she has increased at least the minimum necessary green and root mass. Even dishonest summer residents in the garden can see green bunches of several leaves.

Carrots, like a real Komsomol member, do not stand idle. Right now, the active mass gain of the root crop begins.. You don't have to be Timiryazev to understand: the plant needs feeding, because it is going to create a carrot crop from the available resources.

So let us make up for them, comrades! I will give 2 recipes. The first is the most effective. The second is for those who, like a vampire of silver, are afraid of "chemical" fertilizers.

Effective feeding of carrots at the dawn of July

The best magic pendel is a trio of the main macronutrients: nitrogen, phosphorus and godly potassium. I was surprised when I read about top dressing in early July with only potassium. Carrots will still grow huge palm trees, but what nitrogen is it to take out of the air?

So, comrades. Let's be reasonable and give all the necessary elements in equal parts. The balance of the system is better than the excess of one against the background of the deficit of the other. Feel free to go to the utility store and take from the shelf "Amofoska", which is also called "Nitroammophos", but this name is more difficult.

Don't worry about crop safety after the "chemistry". "Azofoska" can be used at least 2-3 weeks before harvesting, so no one will grow a tail.

TI eat more, I prepare a solution of azofoska. It is processed faster by the plant and, therefore, the result will not be long in coming.. Stir 1.5 tablespoons of granules (this is about 30 g) in a jar of warm water, and then pour 10 liters into the bucket. Use as a very abundant watering.

For those who are against "chemistry"

Frankly, I have never understood the opponents of normal fertilizers. But your right, comrade! I consider it my duty to warn the summer resident: if you want to fertilize environmentally, you will have to tinker and wait, and the efficiency will be lower.

  • Nettle infusion is a fast supplier, first of all, nitrogen. The grass is stuffed into a bucket and barrel so that it takes up 2/3 of the volume. Pour in water, cover with a lid and wait about 10 days for the nettle slurry to ferment. Dilute 1 in 10 - water.
  • Infusion of wood ash - without which, as a source of potassium necessary for the growth of root crops, you cannot do without. I never bothered with the exact dosages and dilutions, insisting 2-4 glasses of ash in a 10L bucket of water for about 5 days. And he never burned anything.

Are you planting carrots and the article was helpful? Click, comrade, "Thumbs up"! Sincerely yours, Fyodor Tyapkin-Sklyankin with a large carrot.
