Good wall paint: beautiful, even coating in two layers
The renovation continues. I have already painted the ceiling and walls in two rooms.
Although the walls were carefully putty and sanded, preparing them for painting, there were still concerns: how the paint would lay down and how it would look. But my fears were in vain - the paint lay well and it was a pleasure to work with it.
I took ready-made color paint.
Paint with original names: "Bitter Chocolate", "Caramel", "Mountain Onyx", and for the ceiling I took "White Cloud"
The paint is thick, good and easy to apply with a roller. Consumption corresponds to the declared one - 10 -11 m² / l. The color in different banks with the same name is the same.
In the rooms, he painted the ceiling first, and then the walls. On the ceiling, before painting the walls, I pasted masking tape in two strips so as not to gag.
To tell the truth, I smeared it on the ceiling with a brush a couple of times when I painted over the corners. It is easy to fix it - to shuffle a little with sandpaper and then smear it with white.
Although the first coat provides good coverage, stripes and uneven coloration are still noticeable.
But with the second layer, everything is aligned. And even in different lighting conditions, the paint looks new.
In another room, I decided to paint the walls in two colors. This was the first experience of such painting. I also used masking tape to separate the color.
Instead of a plinth, a molding was glued to the ceiling. It seems to me that it turned out well.
This paint was taken in Leroy Merlin. The paint is not expensive and it is pleasant to work with it.
There are a few more rooms to be painted and there is an opportunity to try other colors.
As a result
Really pleasant paint to use. Good selection of colors. Covers in two layers, which is very pleasing.
The paint is acrylic, so there is practically no smell when painting. The second layer can be applied after 1 hour.
Best applied with a roller. Of course, you can also use a brush, only it takes longer and small marks from the brush are still noticeable, although the color is uniform.
